Article 128
Supreme Court

(1) There shall be one Supreme Court in Nepal.
(2) The Supreme Court shall be a court of record. Except as otherwise provided in this constitution, all courts and judicial bodies shall be subordinate to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will have the final authority to interpret the constitution and laws.
(3) The Supreme Court may inspect and supervise matters related to the administration or management of the courts, specialized courts or other judicial bodies within its jurisdiction and give necessary instructions.
(4) Everyone must follow the legal principles interpreted or propounded by the Supreme Court in the matter of the case. If someone obstructs the execution of justice or disobeys the order or judgment of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court may take action and punish for contempt in accordance with the law.
